Revitalized and primed…
I am!
Justification? In a bit. This entry won’t be kilometric.
But first, join me as I virtually tour you through these photos of a fanciful guesthouse which my sister Cristy booked for a 10-hour stay in Legazpi City.
Pretty and cozy isn't it? Just look at those charming antique furniture and traditional decors! This is my sister's and my kind of vacation house to be constructed someday. Yup, it's giving a gallery-like ambiance!
Dear readers, this is Balai Tinay Guesthouse in East Washington Drive, Legazpi City. Having failed to secure a room in the two hotels where we would usually stay when in Albay was a blessing in disguise. If not for room shortage due to a surge of tourists coming for Bicol Loco Festival, we would not discover that this kind of accommodation existed in the heart of our birthplace. This hostel was clean and provided us a comfy bed to sleep on and snore away. *e-laughs*
I did not thoroughly explore this establishment since we checked in late, but checked out early for our Irosin, Sorsogon trip. Nevertheless, I could tell that Balai Tinay was conceived and designed to make their guests really feel at balai (home).
So, if you're a transient or a backpacker, please consider Balai Tinay. I am sure the gracious and beauty queen-looking owner, Jinjin Marbella, will personally welcome or see you leave with that magayon (beautiful) Bicolano smile.
Sister, I am overwhelmingly grateful to you for discovering this gem which made us feel safe and consoled. May you find more for our unplanned getaways!
