Miscommunication
This was due to our failure in knowing the updated schedule of our first cousin’s son’s last wake and interment (the second death in the Mediavillo clan within a week) on June 14, Saturday. When we went to the funeral homes we were informed that the burial took place at 11:00am. We arrived past 2:00pm.
Partly, I was thinking that perhaps Obet played a role in letting us miss the complete details to spare us from the mournful atmosphere there considering how traditional and ultra-superstitious Papa's eldest brother's family is. So since we haven’t eaten after departing from Nature Hot Spring Resort, we decided to look for our lunch venue. Olen suggested Antonia’s in Maroroy, Daraga, Albay right away. Jai, having dined there too, seconded the suggestion and we trooped to Antonia's.
Readers, presenting to you the fifth and final leg of our food tripping in Bicol.

They all tasted as appetizing as they looked!
For dessert, Olen ordered halo-halo. Cristy, our two nieces and granddaughter had theirs in advance when they shared in a slice of sans rival cake while waiting for our order. It seemed like they followed the pattern in Barisbis where our panghimagas came first. *smiles*
Happy, happier, happiest stomachs of the tribo again! We should be in that each of our chosen dish (ginataang santol for me!) was delectably prepared.
To wind up our lunch, Cristy and I, both certified javaphiles, ordered coffee. A single shot of espreso for her and it was doppio for me.
This cup of caffeine kept me spirited until 10pm when I met up with my high school batchmates/friends as witnessed by the alluring Mayon Volcano.
