A perfect backdrop
for a golden chance...
We, three sisters, seized it!
From our Scenic Skyway and Cableway adventures, Bryan carried on his tour guide's job at the Scenic Walkway. Here we found ourselves surrounded by Australia's ancient temperate rainforest, and underwent forest bathing while being educated about it.
Unquestionably, our easy stroll on the longest elevated boardwalk in The Land Down Under added to our list of novel occurrences in Sydney.

Along the walkway, we passed by the Katoomba Coal Mine. One had to let their imagination work to visualize the kind of life these miners had in 1878.
Later, we proceeded to the Scenic Railway's point of departure where we would be riding the steepest passenger train in the world.
… then we boarded it, and afterwards was set in motion.
Come on, squeal with us!
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!!!
Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!
Again, again, agaiiiiiiin! We want a repeeeeeeeat! Hahahahahaha...
Remarkably, our Blue Mountains experiences were record- breaking!
From Scenic World we’re brought to Glenbrook to have our meal. This time we’re given more than an hour to eat and enjoy the place where we could find many cafes, restos and boutiques. I went with Cristy and Johanna in looking for our food. Funny, we entered another Asian-owned food shop.
With limited options, we decided on sandwiches, pies and coffee. We joined our other companions who had pastas and salad for their lunch. Looked like we’re going Italian that hour.
Checking our watch we saw that our time in Glenbrook was winding down. We finished our food and hopped on the bus again to head to Sydney Zoo!
Not a zoo fan since I want animals to be in their natural habitat and be free, I still looked forward to visiting one in Australia in hopes of seeing boxing kangaroos and cuddly stuffed toy-looking koalas for real! Hehehe. The almost 35-minute travel from Glenbrook seemed to be fast. Never did we experience traffic since day 1 in Sydney unlike when we're in the Philippines. *sighs*
Bryan escorted us to the entrance before telling us our pick-up time. We explored the zoo on our own...
... and reveled in it especially when we saw "Timon," the meerkat, and sang to him Hakuna Matata. Hahahahaha... Magically, it responded to our singing by appearing to be looking for the source of the sound! We laughed more.
Our DIY zoo tour was worthwhile especially for my sister Cristy who bought her first set of pasalubongs from the souvenir shop there.
Now, it’s Bryan’s last transportation service for us. But, he went on in giving us the historical background of Concord West, a suburban that features pretty brick houses that clearly showcase its architectural landscape. Oh, wow! This residency has the real-life version of the houses that we had collected for our family’s Christmas village!
Travel to Cabarita Park where we’d have our ferry ride to Circular Quay was only around 10 minutes. We could all feel our exhilaration for this ride. Even without uttering it to our fellow tourists, we could tell that we’re all silently wishing for another exceptional adventure for everybody.
"Let me sail, let me sail,
Let the Orinoco Flow,
Let me reach, let me beach
On the shores of Tripoli.
Let me sail, let me sail,
Let me crash upon your shore,
Let me reach, let me beach
Far beyond the Yellow Sea." š¼š¶šµšµš¶šµ
